Where Lisibl began
An idea born between countries, generations and one shared need to pass things on.
Lisibl began with a personal experience. My son is growing up far from the streets, homes and neighborhoods where I spent part of my childhood, between Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and France.
I wanted him to find more than scattered pictures one day: the places, voices and stories that explain where we come from and what we lived through together.
Then something became clear: this need is not limited to childhood. A journey, a friendship, a pet, a tribute or a personal project can also lose its meaning when the media has no context.

A word from the founder
A personal beginning, a universal ambition.
I started Lisibl so my son could find his story. I now build it for everyone who wants to pass theirs on.
My name is Zakaria. I am a father, originally from Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso, and I live in France. This family geography taught me that a photo brings people closer, but a complete story passes on much more.
