At Lisibl, we believe your family's memories belong to you. We are committed to protecting your privacy and treating your data with the utmost respect. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
What We Collect
We deliberately design our service to collect as little personal data as possible. When you purchase a pass, we collect only the information necessary to process your order and deliver the service:
- Checkout Data: Your name, email address, and the child's name and birthdate (to personalize the pass).
- Payment Information: Processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your credit card details on our servers.
- Gifting Information: If purchasing as a gift, we collect the recipient's name and email address to deliver the digital gift card.
How We Use Your Data
The information we collect is used strictly for the following purposes:
- To process and fulfill your purchase or gift order.
- To send you critical account updates, receipts, and instructions for activating your pass.
- To respond to your customer support inquiries.
What We Don't Do
Our business model is simple: you pay once for a premium product. Because of this, our incentives are aligned with your privacy.
- No Tracking: We do not track your activity across other websites or apps.
- No Selling Data: We will never sell your personal information or your children's data to third parties.
- No Ads: We do not use your data to serve advertisements, nor do we partner with ad networks.
Data Storage
How your memories are stored depends on the type of pass you purchased:
Starter & Unlimited Passes: All photos, voice memos, and notes are stored entirely locally on your device. We have absolutely no access to this data. It is your responsibility to back up or export your memories.
Legacy Pass: Memories are securely backed up to our cloud to ensure they are never lost. This data is fully encrypted. We cannot view, analyze, or process the contents of your memories.
Your Rights
You have complete control over your data. At any time, you can:
- Request a full export of your data (available directly within the app).
- Request the permanent deletion of your account and any associated cloud backups (for Legacy pass holders).
- Opt out of any non-essential communications.
