Lisibl was built on a simple belief: technology should protect your family's most precious moments — not exploit them. Because we handle something as intimate as your child's memories, we want to be completely transparent about how your data is treated. Here's our promise to you, in plain words.

🏠 Your family map is yours alone

Lisibl is a private family space. It lives behind your login, for your family only.

• We never share your memories, photos, or voice memos with anyone outside your family circle.
• We never use your content to train AI models.
• We never show your children's faces, names, or locations to strangers.

Your family's map is invisible to the world unless you choose to share it with the people you trust — grandparents, godparents, close family.

🚫 We don't sell data. Ever.

You are not the product. Your children are not the product.

• No ads: Lisibl will never show advertisements.
• No data brokers: We never sell, rent, or trade your family's photos, locations, or personal information with third parties.
• No profiling: We don't build marketing profiles based on your family, your children, or your memories.

Our business model is simple: you pay a subscription to keep your family's time capsule growing. That's it.

🗄️ Your data stays yours

• You own everything: Every photo, note, voice memo, and location you save belongs to you — not to us.
• Export anytime: You can download all your data as a complete backup whenever you want.
• Delete anytime: You can delete individual memories or your entire account instantly. When you delete, it's gone.
• No ghost data: We don't keep hidden copies of your deleted content.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family sharing, on your terms

You decide exactly who sees your child's memory map.

• Invite-only access: Viewers (grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents) can only see the map if you explicitly invite them.
• Revoke anytime: You can remove any viewer's access instantly from your settings.
• No social features: There are no public profiles, no followers, no likes from strangers. Just hearts and voice messages from people you chose.

🔐 Security is built in

• Encrypted connections: All data is transmitted over encrypted channels (TLS/HTTPS).
• Secure authentication: Your account is protected with hashed passwords and JWT-based sessions.
• Child protection: Children access their own map through a unique recovery code + birthdate — no email or password required.
• Payment security: All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details.
